Welcome to Rugged Retreats Restoration & Build (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing our website, requesting a quote, or hiring us for construction, restoration, or outdoor development services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Scope of Services

Rugged Retreats Restoration & Build provides services including but not limited to:

  • Building restoration

  • New home, cabin, and structure construction

  • Deck and outdoor living builds

  • Garden and landscape creation

  • Hunting plot development

  • Off‑grid living setup and construction

  • General contracting and project management

All services are subject to availability, site conditions, and project approval.

2. Estimates & Proposals

  • All estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

  • Estimates are based on the information available at the time of inspection.

  • Unexpected conditions (e.g., hidden damage, structural issues, material shortages) may result in additional costs.

  • Any changes requested by the client after the estimate is approved may require a revised quote.

 3. Payments & Billing

  • A deposit may be required before work begins.

  • Payment schedules will be outlined in the project agreement or invoice.

  • Late payments may incur fees as permitted by law.

  • Materials purchased specifically for your project are non‑refundable once ordered.

We reserve the right to pause or delay work if payments are not made according to the agreed schedule.

 4. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate information regarding the project site

  • Ensure safe and reasonable access to the work area

  • Obtain necessary permissions or approvals when required (unless otherwise arranged)

  • Keep pets, children, and personal property clear of the work zone

We are not responsible for delays caused by lack of access, unsafe conditions, or incomplete client preparation.

 5. Project Timeline

We strive to complete projects within the estimated timeframe; however, timelines may be affected by:

  • Weather conditions

  • Material availability

  • Permit delays

  • Unforeseen site conditions

  • Changes requested by the client

We are not liable for delays outside our control.

6. Materials & Warranties

  • Materials used will meet industry standards unless otherwise specified.

  • Manufacturer warranties apply where available.

  • Workmanship warranties will be outlined in your project agreement.

  • Natural materials (wood, stone, etc.) may vary in appearance and performance.

We do not guarantee outcomes affected by client‑provided materials or third‑party contractors not hired by us.

7. Off‑Grid & Outdoor Projects

Off‑grid systems, hunting plots, and outdoor builds may be subject to environmental factors beyond our control. Clients acknowledge that:

  • Performance may vary due to weather, wildlife, soil conditions, or terrain

  • Maintenance is required for long‑term functionality

  • We are not responsible for damage caused by natural events, wildlife, or misuse

 8. Photos & Marketing

With your permission, we may take before‑and‑after photos of your project for portfolio or marketing use. Personal information and addresses will never be shared.

🔒 9. Liability Limitations

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Our liability is limited to the cost of the services provided

  • We are not responsible for pre‑existing issues discovered during the project

Clients must notify us of any concerns within a reasonable timeframe.

🧾 10. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations must be submitted in writing.

  • Deposits may be non‑refundable depending on project stage and materials purchased.

  • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within a reasonable timeframe.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the state in which the project is performed. Any disputes will be handled in accordance with local regulations.
